ATEX is an EU Directive relating to Hazardous Area Installations (Flammable Atmospheres). There are two directives: ATEX95 deals with equipment that can be used in these areas and, ATEX137 deals with the workplace environment and the health & safety of employees.
Forward can provide full ATEX certified electrical installations. ATEX electrical installations are used in potentially explosive atmospheres. With fully qualified and certifed engineers, Forward will ensure your installation is up to the highest standards.
Whilst obvious hazardous areas are those in petrol stations and fuel farms, if there is any area in which there is even the slightest risk of a spark setting off an explosion then hazardous area equipment is required.
Forward can help with setting up of ATEX related directives within your workplace and a full design and installation service for all your electrical requirements.
